Thanks to all who participated. The series was a great success. We started out with a bunch of RSVP's and 4 actual paid entrants. No problem though; we all love to sail.

The first race had four boats and great wind. After that, there was a minimum of 6+ for every race. Was a great turn out, the weather was awesome, and the get together afterwards at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club was warming. Many thanks to the Yacht Club for the use of their downstairs facilities. I would like to thank Rod Hubbard for doing what he could for committee boat. Then when things happened turned sour for Rod, Faisel stepped up and volunteered to be and provide a committee boat. Thanks Faisel. After each race Bob Miles helped out with the times and calculations. Thank you Bob. Like to thank Michele for her write ups. I would like to think that her write ups were a big help into bringing other members out and making the race fleet grow. The get together and award ceremony was a huge success, The Pizza Factory gave us a great discount and some AWESOME Pizza.

Hope to use them again in the future. I would like to congratulate Bob Miles for taking 1st, Michele Sladko for taking 2nd, and Glen and Shannon Eisenbrey for taking 3rd. Job well done. On a sad note, I would like to offer my condolences to Rod Hubbard and their family. There was a death in the family in the middle of the race series. Our Hearts and Prayers to your Family Rod. On a Happy note, there is a great interest in Spring series, our Thursday night race series, It shall be a great one!
