September 6th
The chosen few enjoyed a perfect day. Eight knots of wind, no chop, partly cloudy. Where was the rest of the world? Michele had to study so Mike took ROSSINANTE. It was such a beautiful afternoon that Michele sailed her Westwight Potter out to the middle of the bay and did her homework. So beautiful that Glen and Shannon Eisenbrey treated their new baby, Zoe, to an afternoon on the water.

Bob Miles in SLINGSHOT led the way in both races. Mike Schott was close behind in venerable ROSSINANTE hoping Bob would make a tiny mistake. Rodney Hubbard coaxed BLIDEVIND to two third places. And last, but not least, Faisal Jaswal on BLUE MOON could have had third place except for being too far behind the start line. Get 'em next time, Faisal!
